  • BACnet/IP for Innotech data sharing over Cat 5e (structured network cabling).
  • BACnet/IP integration to Clipsal CBus.
  • BACnet MS/TP integration to ABB VSD (9) and Carrier Chillers (2).
  • Modbus RTU interface to Fire Services and Multifunction Power Meters (18).
  • Modbus TCP interface to UPS Units (12).
  • Magellan-generated virtual point output to Security Services relay (low level).
  • Generator and Transfer switch monitoring.
  • Plant Scheduling for administration and accommodation facilities.
  • Airflow monitoring and alarm from accommodation bedrooms (cells).
  • Smoke-spill fan testing control and status monitoring.
  • Chillers, Boilers and water-pumps staging.
  • VAV and AHU Control with economy cycle.
  • Constant Volume FCU control with economy cycle.
  • HCV unit control (Evap cool/ Gas heat unit)

Unusual Aspects:
  • Large number of HLI from Innotech to other protocols and devices.
  • Large volume of alarm monitoring from many trades: Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, security, lift services, fire services and lighting control
  • Long distances between out-buildings necessitated using BACnet/IP over third party structured network cabling for communications between Maxim controllers in different buildings, and with iComm.
    The IG03 gateway has again been invaluable in seamless integration to the other services, ensuring all requirements of the client were met. The VAVmax controllers have impressed seasoned commissioning personnel and consultants alike, with the accuracy and precision of operation. And as usual the Max IIIs flexibility and cost-effectiveness has been beneficial to us enabling it to be used exclusively in all aspects of control and monitoring across the site.
